Your work

Thursday in class we identified the difference between a topic and a theme. Then students identified a theme that they wanted to use as the basis of their free verse poem. Keep thinking about your theme, a great idea is the beginning of  a great poem.

On Monday 3/10 we will watch and read some different styles of free verse poetry, and then we will begin to write our own.

On Friday 3/14 three copies of the draft of your free verse poem are due in class.
